Use a domain registered through CIPC with Origami Host Print

A domain registered through CIPC can require a registrar transfer before it can be managed with your chosen registrar. That transfer is separate from buying hosting or moving a website.

CIPC handles the initial one-year registration. ZARC requires transfer to an accredited commercial registrar within that year, or the domain can enter the deletion process. Arrange the transfer before the anniversary date.

  1. Find the exact domain name and confirm that you are the registrant or have permission to manage it.
  2. Contact us through the client area and say that it was registered through CIPC. We will check its status and confirm the applicable transfer process.
  3. Follow the legitimate transfer instructions from the registry and gaining registrar. Keep access to the registered contact address and do not approve an unexpected request.
  4. After the transfer, confirm the domain status and renewal date. Arrange hosting or email separately if you need those services.

Do not assume company registration automatically keeps the domain renewed. Keep the domain's renewal arrangements current with its registrar. The registry's CIPC domain guidance explains this registration route.
